Eliza Beth Engle

Associate

AIA, NCIDQ, LEED AP BD+C, WELL

Eliza enjoys creating healthy environments for people to play, work and grow!  Her passion for sustainability started during her undergraduate studies when she read the book, Clearer, Cleaner, Safer, Greener.  She then sought out a graduate program where she could learn more about this ‘movement’ and it landed her at the University of Oregon.

Since arriving back on the east coast, she has shared her knowledge of sustainable products and practices with clients, co-workers and anyone else interested in specifying and living healthier.  Designing for everyone regardless of size, strength or abilities is another one of Eliza’s core interests.  She is both a registered Architect and a NCIDQ certified Interior Designer.  She serves on the Board for the Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and is a member of the Government Advisory Advocacy Council along with being a PAC Trustee.  Currently she is Chair of the Board of the Parent Leadership Training Institute in Alexandria, Virginia.
